David.

No introduction needed –  I just wish I could sit and gaze at this piece of perfection for endless hours – I KNOW I would catch him moving!  Honestly, instant tears welled up in my eyes when I rested them on his perfect form.  Amazing to see with my own eyes.

THE...one and only... David.

THE…one and only… David.

Really, wow.

Really, wow.

Perfect from every angle.

Perfect from every angle.

The muscles in his body are crazy.

Did you know that anatomically he is perfect except for one bone in his wrist that MIchaelangelo added?

Still waiting for him to move....

  1. I remember we saw him for the first time – together. 1984 or 5. Dave – he hasn’t changed a bit. But we sure have. Think about it – the eyes you are seeing him through, connected to the brain that’s processing all these feelings – the maturity to understand the power of this almost impossible perfection that needed no embellishment. Plus tapping into childlike awe somehow comes more naturally in our late 40s than it did at 20. An outstanding specimen of nature’s greatest creation, by one of the greatest interpreters of visual and tactile stimuli that ever lived. Thanks – I’ve seen David in person a few times – yet seeing him through you – all the way from NY- gave me a new perspective!

  2. It’s hard to keep in mind that he’s made of stone. Brilliant beyond imagination. But maybe there IS a little blood in one of those veins and we can have him cloned…
Though I’d have to have myself rebuilt as my 20’something self – I’ve never been into young stuff.
