Cobblestone streets and long walks on the Arno,
Outdoor cafes and a glass of Barolo,
Musicians play, the accordion sings,
These are a few of my favorite things….
Flowers in baskets and hot cappuccino,
Carmel gelato and aged pecorino,
Wide open windows and church bells that ring,

When I’m lonely, when it’s silent, when I’m feeling sad…
I simply remember I’m here in Firenze
And then I don’t feeeeeeel soooo bad!!
I arrived in Rome in the early morning hours of March 14, tired and happy.
As the train pulled out of the station in Rome and headed to Florence, the sun rose just at the perfect moment.
